We talk a lot in Detroit about how to get a house demolished, but less about how to take action on a house that would be a candidate for rehab and an asset to the neighborhood. Come hear from a stellar panel that will talk about tracing ownership, the tricky legal aspects to taking action and how to advocate for a property!
Loveland Technologies will demonstrate options for tracing property ownership as well as interventions for publicly owned buildings
Dan Cousino from Honigman will be offering tips on how to navigate the legal aspects of property acquisition.
Claire Nowak-Boyd will share a success story of saving houses on her block by working with the DLBA to get properties auctioned and promoted
