Join us for our Wood Window Repair Series with facilitator Phil Mayo!
This series of 3 hands-on sessions will take you through the steps of wood window restoration!
- Sat June 15 @9:30a-12:30p--Part 1: Deconstruct without Destroying
- Sat June 29 @9:30a-12:30p--Part 2: Paint Removal, Glass Setting, Glazing
- Sat July 13 @9:30a-12:30p--Part 3: Hanging & Installation

**You must be a resident of Detroit, Hamtramck or Highland Park to participate!
The fee for all three sessions is $36-- this fee and will go directly toward supplies and breakfast.
If accepted you will be asked to sign a safety waiver and ask to complete the registration, including fee payment, in advance of the classes.
The class will take place in a private home in North End and a home window workshop in East English Village. Addresses will be shared with participants a few days before the start of the class.
About the Facilitator:

hil Mayo currently works as an independent contractor in Detroit, doing exterior restoration and maintenance, and restores windows in his spare time. A painter by trade, Phil has been involved in preservation trades since relocating to Detroit in 2015. He is a member of the National Association of Window Restoration Specialists and an affiliate of the Window Preservation Alliance. When he’s not making old things new, Phil enjoys running, reading and supporting Tottenham Hotspur.
