Brick + Beam holds DIY classes (check out the events page) and we are always looking for feedback on topics that rehabbers are looking for, so feel free to email us ([email protected]) if you have suggestions for our next one!
Habitat for Humanity's ReStore in Detroit (https://www.facebook.com/DetroitReStore) also offers some DIY classes.
Michigan Historic Preservation Network (mhpn.org) also holds some DIY classes and more intensive workshops (like 2-week window repair or plaster).
Hope this helps!
