Plank Mattress—worth it for firm sleepers?

Asked by Frank Polter at 10:41am on Feb 23 2025

I’ve been looking for an extra firm mattress, and Plank Mattress keeps coming up as a solid option. I like the idea of a flippable design with two firmness levels, but I wanna know—does it actually stay firm over time, or does it start softening up after a few months? Also, if there are any issues with delivery or returns, is Plank Mattress customer service easy to deal with, or is it a hassle?

Grabbed a Plank Mattress a few months ago because regular "firm" mattresses always end up feeling too soft. No exaggeration—this thing is firm. No sink, no cushiony feel, just solid support. After a few weeks, it actually started feeling more comfortable, but it never lost that firmness, which was exactly what I wanted. Delivery hit a small delay, so reaching out to https://www.pissedconsumer.com/company/plank-mattress/customer-service.html was necessary. Response time wasn’t instant, but they provided tracking updates and made sure everything arrived as expected. For anyone serious about a firm sleeping surface, this mattress does what it promises—just be sure that extra firmness is what you really want.
