We're trying to install a vented fireplace insert in an ] fireplace that had previous had a ventless fireplace. The existing gas line is something like a 3/8" copper line. The fireplace installer told us it needs to be swapped out with a 1/2" line with a flexible metal connector.
We're not finding plumbers that are willing to come into (midtown) Detroit or work on the project. Any leads on someone who will?
Finding the right plumber for specialized work like a gas line to a fireplace can be tricky. You definitely want someone with experience handling these kinds of setups to make sure everything is safe and up to code. While looking into home services, I also came across some discussions about https://www.pissedconsumer.com/nations-pure/RT-F.html and how they handle water filtration systems. Seems like a good option for people looking to improve water quality at home.
