My house was fire damaged after I bought it. It is now on a list to be demolished. If I can I would like to save it but I need to know structurally if this is possible. Any advice on who to talk to would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Not sure if they do that type of analysis, but might try:

I would start with a house inspection as well. For areas you know will need structural repair you may want to have a structural engineer look at it to make recommendations to the contractor.
I used Mr Barnabas Mosley of Mosley Inc.
He holds a Professional Engineer license (6201039313) and I found him on Home Advisor.

Last week we met with an accident of fire at our home. It happened due to short circuit in our HVAC. Thanks to the professional guys of http://damagerelief.com/ that arrived quickly and controlled the situation. We found them quite friendly in nature because the way they responded to our query was quite professional. They moved all of us to a safer place and remediate the problem. Only after their recommendation we shifted back to home.

Emma, I'm sorry to hear about your house! I don't know how expensive they are, but you can talk with a home inspector and see if they're willing to do a walk-through with you to assess the damage and cost to repair.
A few names that come to mind are Skip Stackhouse ([email protected]), Brian Mooney and John at Integrity Building Group ([email protected] or [email protected]), Mike Hoberecht (inspectormike.com), and Don Randazzo (734-646-3764).
You can also use Michigan Historic Preservation Network's resource directory to see if there are specialists you might need in order to get the work done: http://www.brickandbeamdetroit.com/resources/detroit-michigan-contractor-list
Would be great to hear who you used and what the outcomes are! Good luck and let us know how things go.
