I'd like to recycle as much as possible through this process! Are there any tips for where I can take different materials, how to best use bulk pickup days, or specialized dumpster services?
Also are there any good ways to store materials to discourage rodents?

Anything that you remove that is still in good shape I would suggest donating to the Habitat for Humanity Re-store. Also, If anyone knows of a place to dispose of asbestos please share :)
I have the same question! Especially because we're going to remove our shower doors shortly and I have no idea what to do with them. Sorry I dont have an answer, but if you find one elsewhere please do share!
