Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7 to Launch on December 4, Bringing New Characters and Storyline
HoYoverse has confirmed that Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 2.7 will be available on December 4, marking the conclusion of the story in Penacony before the Astral Express journeys to the new region of Amphoreus. This highly anticipated update is set to provide fans with an exciting continuation of the game’s narrative and new content to explore.
Since its launch in 2023, Honkai: Star Rail has been a resounding success, with over 20 million downloads in just one day. The game continues to enjoy a large player base, maintaining more than 19 million active players in the past month, according to Activeplayer.io.
Version 2.7 will close the chapter in Penacony and prepare the story for the upcoming transition to Amphoreus, known as the Eternal Land. The update will introduce two new five-star characters: Sunday and Fugue. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to acquire Jin Yuan and Firefly, two previously released five-star characters.
