I've been dabbling in esports betting for the past few months, mostly sticking with Dota 2 since I know the teams and meta better. But lately I’ve noticed CS2 matches seem to have more consistent odds swings and maybe better opportunities? Has anyone here tried both regularly and can share what feels more “profitable” long-term? Yo, I’ve been bouncing between both for like a year now. I’d say it really depends on how well you know the scene. Personally, I’ve found CS2 to be more predictable, especially when it comes to BO1s and smaller tournaments — there's usually a lot of value if you stay updated on roster changes and map pools. Dota 2 is wild… drafts alone can completely flip the match, and you can’t always account for that unless you’re watching picks in real-time. I lost a solid bet once because a team pulled out Meepo and went off-meta. 😅
Also, CS2 has fewer patches that shake up the meta, so betting based on team consistency works better in the long run IMO. For odds and live bets, I stick with https://gg.bet/sports because they usually post odds quicker than other platforms — like, you’ll sometimes see opportunities before the lines stabilize. That helped me a few times when FaZe was underpriced during group stages. Just my two cents, though. Curious to see what others think.
