I would have LOVED that for our Boston Edison house that was brick with PINK trim. We wanted to repaint it but never got around to it before selling, and in part that was because while we had the Historic District paint options, we didn't really know where to start in terms of trim vs soffets vs window surrounds, etc. Don't live in Detroit anymore but I imagine this would be a very useful service, especially in local historic districts to help owners navigate the options available to them from HDC based on their housing typology and how they can be creative within those parameters. Good luck!

Thank you for your response Emilie. Insightful perspective of working within HDC limits. What has proven useful are digital imaging previews as can put property owners and stakeholders at ease. Also provides effective collaboration space to share joy of color designing a home or building.
