Located in the highly remediated, lower eastside in the East Village area. House was purchased at 2013 online auction. House was in poor condition with open roofing/structural and water damage. This is a very attractive building..
Projects
The house came with a squatter. I used that situation to provide initial security. I proceeded to add security (bars & doors), replaced the roof and exterior concrete and framing elements. Used a combination of skilled local and para professional labor. Now ready to confront the interior. House had been vandalized with many items harvested such a radiators. Overall electric, plumbing/heating is a major challenge. Project still a work in progress
