Learn painting tips and techniques for getting the job done right the first time! Join Brick + Beam Detroit and NeighborFix for a small hands-on workshop at a home in Grandmont-Rosedale led by local painter Susan VandenBrink. (RSVP'd attendees will receive the address via email the night before.) NeighborFix is a capacity building and neighborhood strengthening mobile app that brings neighbors together by doing tasks for each other.
Learn to paint a room from start to finish with professional results, including wall repairs, priming, painting techniques, types of paint, and color choices -- and you don't need to bring anything! We'll provide supplies, snacks, and some take-home materials so you can bring what you learn back to your own project. No specific attire required, but maybe don't wear your nicest sweater!
Event is FREE but capacity is VERY limited, so please RSVP only if you're sure you can make it! Once the event is full feel free to join the waitlist and you'll be notified if a spot opens up. (We usually experience a few last-minute cancellations.)
